FBI to Build Social Network Spy App

In 2010 Robert X. Cringley published his article "The FBI on Facebook: watching every move you make" at infoworld.com. In his article, Robert was assuming that if cops and federal agents can infiltrate people's life in the real world, it is natural to assume that they can do the same in the virtual world and he gave examples on how they can invade someone's profile and know everything about him/her using Facebook and other social networking websites.
A couple of days ago, the FBI decided to build an application that allows them to track people's posts on social networking websites. According to Antony Savvas in his article "FBI to Build Social Network Spy App", the bureau has published requests for potential contractors asking how such a system can be build in order to predict and react to criminal behavior.
